Typevents is offering specially tailored walking tours of Baskerville’s Birmingham. Starting in the autumn of 2006 to coincide with Baskerville’s tercentenary Typevents will be organising regular tours that will be open to both individuals and groups. Walks will last up to one-and-a-half hours and will include stops at sites of special significance in Baskerville’s Birmingham, including:
Baskerville House
The ‘Virgil’ standing punches
Easy Row, Baskerville’s Birmingham home
The Baskerville exhibition at the Birmingham Central Reference Library
St Philips cathedral, burial site of Sarah, wife of Baskerville
The various resting places of Baskerville, including the Warstone Lane Catacombs

Ben Waddington has worked for Birmingham Libraries for 10 years and has a long-standing interest in the history of the city. He has been researching and organising themed walking tours of the city for three years. The Hidden Pubs of Digbeth and The Lunar Society are the latest walks that he has added to his itinerary.
All tours are accompanied by a knowledgeable and informative talk given by Ben Waddington, an experienced local guide. Tours are limited to a maximum of 15 people, cost Ł10.00 per head and meet outside the Museum and Art Gallery at noon, the tour will be about 90 mins / 2 miles
